Some of you asked where the "Big Bikes Superstore" was where I took the picture of my bike.

It is here in Jacksonville, FL. They cater mostly to the Goldwings, but the mechanic, (Dave) owned a Cavalcade and I trust him with the bike. He is the only one I trust.

He has done excellent work for me in the past. For example, before my trip to NC, I had taken the bike there for new tires, front and rear. I then took it in for an emergency fork seal replacement 3 days before the trip. While he was performing the tire change on the rear he noticed the bearings were worn. He told me that when I returned from NC I should have them changed. Since he did not have them in stock when I was there, he said he would replace the bearings with no labor cost.

I took it in for the fork seals and he did the entire job in less than 2 hours. I had barely gotten back to work and they called for me to come pick it up. I was amazed. Anyway, the trip to NC went great except for a minor electrical problem.

I thought it might be the dreaded rectifier/stator problem we have all been talking about. I took the bike in for the wheel bearings on Saturday and asked him to check the electrical system too. Dave did this. He did the wheel bearings and ran a DX on the electricals for $34.38, the cost of the bearings.

I am very happy with this store and if any of you ever have a problem here in, or close to Jacksonville, call them at 904-880-6900. Ask for Dave or Nick. They will take very good care of you.
