Just thought I would relate a tale from Americade 2000 - who knows build a library of tales to relate. Dave May (Attleboro, Mass) and I arrived at Americade on Thursday met Ken and his wife, Larry and his wife (the famous Nurse Ratchet), Cliff Monges and his wife Paula for an evening snack at Mrs. B's. After chatting for awhile Dave and I headed down Main St. to look at all the fancy rigs. Walked for a couple of hours (saw more Cavalcades in 2 hours than I had in 10 years of ownership), stopping to chat with everyone we met, reminding them of the get-together Friday at the Batting Cage. Down on the dock was this Cavalcade with Ontario plates on it I wondered if by any chance it could be Rick McCalla a frequent Chat Room visitor. We walked up to the man standing there and said "Is your name Rick?" when he said yes I thought we had really got lucky, but he seemed completely confused by my introducing myself
as 'AL from Mass'. He looked at Dave and I with a baffled look.

It turned out his name was Rick, but had never heard of Rick McCalla or Cavalcade_Onelist. We did end up chatting for about a half hour and for the next 2 days constantly ran into him. He did end up joining the Friday morning Cade Raid. Promised to checkout and join Onelist, hope he forgives me for forgetting his last name.
